Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Scoop Route ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and service address

  • Number of dogs and any relevant notes about your yard
  • Billing details — payments are processed by Stripe, and we don't store your full card number ourselves
  • Photos taken of your closed gate as visit confirmation, where you've requested this

2. How we collect it

We collect this information when you submit an enquiry on our website, sign up through our client portal, or communicate with us by phone, email, or SMS.

3. How we use it

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide and schedule your service, and plan our daily routes

  • Send you service reminders, visit confirmations, invoices, and account updates by SMS and email
  • Respond to enquiries and provide customer support

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information with trusted service providers who help us run Scoop Route, including Stripe (payment processing) and GoHighLevel (sending SMS and email communications). We don't sell your personal information to anyone, and we only share what each provider needs to perform its function for us.

5. Data storage and security

Your information is stored on secure, hosted infrastructure with access restricted to those who need it to run the service. We keep personal information only for as long as it's needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time by contacting us using the details below. Clients can also view and manage their own details directly through the client portal.

7. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can address it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
