Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These terms apply whenever you engage Scoop Route ("we", "us") to provide dog waste removal services, whether booked through our website, over the phone, or through our client portal. By booking a service or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

1. Our service

We provide dog yard waste removal at residential properties in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, offered as a recurring plan (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or twice-weekly) or as a one-off clean-up. Pricing depends on the number of dogs and how often we visit, and is confirmed with you before your first visit.

2. No lock-in contracts

There are no lock-in contracts. You can pause or cancel your service at any time through your client portal or by contacting us — no cancellation fees apply.

3. Property access

You authorise us to enter your yard at the scheduled time to carry out the service, including using any gate code you provide. We take reasonable care to close gates securely after each visit, and where you've asked for photo confirmation, we'll take a photo of the closed gate. You're responsible for restraining or securing your dog(s) during the scheduled visit window, and for telling us about any hazards in the yard (loose dogs, damaged fencing, other risks) before we visit.

4. Billing and payment

Recurring plans are billed monthly in advance and one-off services are billed at the time of booking, both processed securely through Stripe. We don't store your card details ourselves. If a payment fails, we'll let you know and may pause your service until it is resolved. We'll give you reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect.

5. Missed or skipped visits

Occasionally a visit may be rescheduled due to weather, public holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control. If we miss a scheduled visit through our own error, we'll reschedule it or credit your account — just get in touch.

6. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel a recurring plan at any time; you won't be billed for the following month once cancelled, and we'll refund any amount already paid for visits that haven't yet been delivered. One-off services are non-refundable once the visit has been completed.

7. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you're entitled to remedies under that law in addition to anything set out here.

8. Liability

We take reasonable care in providing our service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our service is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the amount paid for the affected visit, except where a hazard or damage in your yard was not disclosed to us beforehand.

9. Communications

By providing your phone number and email address, you consent to us contacting you by SMS and email about your bookings, visit confirmations, billing, and account updates. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, and we'll let existing clients know of any material changes.
